Tom Jones Performs at Haydock on Summer Tour

The maestro himself, Tom Jones is at Haydock Park on Friday, July 4th 2025 to perform live after evening racing. One of the world’s most famous singers is on hand to end a wonderful day and night of sport and entertainment in the most perfect way. Soon after the action on the track is over, Jones performs a full headline set including iconic hits What’s New Pussycat, It’s Not Unusual and Delliah. The Welsh superstar is helping to sell out various racecourses this summer, including at Newmarket.

Now, one of the country’s most celebrated entertainers shares a wonderful evening of smash hit songs on July 4th. Those attending can wait for Tom Jones in one of the most picturesque surroundings, taking in an evening at the racing before watching what promises to be one of the best live shows anywhere in the country this summer.

Tom Jones and Evening Racing Timings & Location

Tom Jones fans and racegoers alike will have an amazing time at Haydock on July 4th. Take in a great evening of racing action on the track before the man himself takes to the stage.

There are some great enclosures and facilities to take advantage of at Haydock Park. The Paddock Enclosure, the Premier Enclosure, the Club Enclosure and the hospitality suites are all available. There are great views of the track from all, with the stage being front and centre after racing is over.

Timings

Timings for the day for Tom Jones live at Haydock Park are:

  • Gates open at 3:30pm
  • First race is due off at 5:30pm
  • Last race is due off at 8:25pm
  • Tom Jones live is due to start at 9:00pm

This will be a huge show, Tom Jones being on stage right until around 10:45pm. The start of the show is affected slightly by when the final race concludes. You can’t miss the main event stage here. It’ll be set up on the grass right in front of the grandstand, facing spectators. Look out for the lights!

Live Racing Before Tom Jones

Haydock continuously produces some of the best horse racing in the country on its much-loved turf track. Some of the country’s favourite trainers and jockeys will be in attendance before Tom Jones gets on stage. There are six races planned before the show. You can get runners and riders’ info in your racecard. The full racing line-up on July 4th is:

  • Race 1 (5:30) – 6-furlong nursery handicap
  • Race 2 (6:05) – 1-mile, 3-furlong handicap
  • Race 3 (6:40) – 1-mile, 2-furlong handicap
  • Race 4 (7:15) – 6-furlong fillies’ novice stakes
  • Race 5 (7:50) – 6-furlong novice stakes
  • Race 6 (8:25) – 6-furlong handicap

Four of the races on the card are six-furlong sprint races, run on the straight course in front of the stands. The big screen will keep you up to date on how the runners are going during the races. Once the presentations are made and the jockeys have weighed in for the final race, Tom Jones will take to the stage for a magical musical evening.
