English Pop Rock Band, Scouting For Girls, Live at Market Rasen

Friday, June 13th, 2025, promises to be a huge night at Market Rasen Racecourse, one of the jewels of Lincolnshire. Scouting For Girls arrive for a full, live headline set after evening racing with one of the most beautiful sporting arenas in the country as the backdrop. One of the most popular bands of the genre, Scouting For Girls will be performing such hits as Heartbeat, Elvis Ain’t Dead, She’s So Lovely and of course their UK no.1 This Ain’t A Love Song.

Scouting For Girls are on a full summer tour, taking in Market Rasen Racecourse along the way. They have been in rehearsals putting together a top-notch show, the latest stop being at the track for a performance after summer evening jumps racing on Friday, June 13th. This is one not to be missed.

Scouting For Girls and Summer Racing Timings & Location

If you are visiting to see Scouting For Girls at Market Rasen on June 13th, you will also get the amazing bonus of some outstanding summer horse racing on the track. Six races are planned on the day.

The stage for the live show is situated on the lawn, right in front of the main grandstand and the enclosures. There are some great facilities at the track including top views of the action, fine food & drink outlets and hospitality areas.

Timings

Race and show timings for Scouting For Girls live at Market Rasen are:

  • Gates open at 3:50pm
  • First race is due off at 5:50pm
  • Last race is due off at 8:45pm
  • Scouting For Girls live is due to start shortly after the last race

Scouting For Girls will be on stage at around 9:00pm, as long as the final race finishes on time. The start time for their performance can be delayed by a few minutes depending on what happens in the final event on the track.

The stage is easy to find – right in front of the enclosures. Those from all enclosures are welcome in front of the stage during or after racing to take their place for Scouting For Girls live.

Turf Racing Action Before Scouting For Girls

The Jockey Club Live music nights are ever popular at some of Britain’s top racecourses. Once more, some top entertainment is planned for Friday, June 13th, 2025. Before the show kicks off, there are six National Hunt races planned in. All the runners and riders’ information is available online or in your racecard. There are also screens throughout the racecourse showing the runners and their odds. The full racecard is:

  • Race 1 (5:50) – 2-mile, 4-furlong handicap hurdle
  • Race 2 (6:25) – 2-mile juvenile hurdle
  • Race 3 (7:00) – 2-mile, 5-furlong handicap chase
  • Race 4 (7:35) – 2-mile handicap hurdle
  • Race 5 (8:10) – 2-mile, 3-furlong handicap chase
  • Race 6 (8:45) – 2-mile, 7-furlong novices’ handicap hurdle

Four of the races take place over the smaller obstacles (hurdles), while the other two are over the larger fences. Each race finishes right in front of the stands so that those in all enclosures get a great view of the action. Be sure to get down to the rails or around the parade ring to get up close and personal with the equine stars.

After the presentations have been made and the jockeys have weighed in after the final race, Scouting For Girls will take to the stage.
