Epsom is best known as the home of The Derby, first run in 1780 and widely regarded as the most prestigious Flat race in the world – a true stallion maker. The course itself is famously challenging, featuring dramatic undulations, downhill sections and the sharp turn at Tattenham Corner – a layout that has caught out plenty of talented horses over the years. Winning at Epsom often requires balance, speed, stamina and a jockey brave enough to commit at exactly the right moment.

Throughout the year it hosts concerts, outdoor cinema events, conferences, weddings, exhibitions and private celebrations.

Epsom Downs hosts a Summer Music Night on July 9th featuring ABBA Revival, recently voted the UK’s Official No.1 ABBA tribute band. Following an evening of racing, racegoers can enjoy live performances of classic hits including Dancing Queen, Mamma Mia and Waterloo. Known for their authentic sound, colourful costumes and energetic stage show, ABBA Revival provides the perfect entertainment to round off a summer evening at the races.
Epsom: Summer Music Night with Fleetwood Unchained
Epsom Downs hosts a Summer Music Night on July 16th featuring Fleetwood Unchained, a tribute to one of rock music’s most iconic bands. Following an evening of racing, racegoers can enjoy live performances of Fleetwood Mac classics including The Chain, Dreams, Go Your Own Way and Everywhere. Combining big harmonies and timeless songs, the show provides the perfect soundtrack to a summer evening. Gates open at 4:30pm, with racing from 5:55pm.
Epsom Downs: Summer Music Night with Everswift
A summer evening at Epsom Downs gets a pop-inspired twist on July 30th with a live performance from EverSwift. Celebrating the music of Taylor Swift, the tribute show features songs spanning her career, from early country-pop favourites to chart-topping modern hits. Designed for fans of all ages, the entertainment follows an evening of racing and promises plenty of singalong moments. Gates open at 4:30pm, with the first race scheduled for 5:50pm.
