You really don’t want to miss out on the Friday fun at Bath! The racecourse opens its doors on Friday, June 5th, 2026, for Party in the Paddock. Get set for a top evening of live horse racing, music, and real summer vibes.
There are seven competitive racing events planned on the track before live music in the Paddock Ring. Look out for the live DJ set, designed to get you moving across a full one-hour set. You can also expect plenty of awesome street food, and you can grab your cocktails from the pop-up bars throughout.
Party in the Paddock Timings & Location

To get to Bath Racecourse for Party in the Paddock, head towards Bath via the M4 before following signs for the racecourse just outside the city centre. The venue sits high above the town with stunning countryside views and is easily accessible by both car and public transport. Bath Spa railway station offers direct services from London and other major cities, with taxis and shuttle options available to the course on race days.
Regardless of how you arrive, the atmosphere is set to impress from the moment you step through the gates. Racegoers can enjoy everything from general admission tickets to hospitality experiences, alongside great racing, live entertainment, street food and plenty of summer party vibes throughout the evening.
Timings
Current timings for Party in the Paddock at Bath are:
- Gates open at 4:05pm
- First race is due off at 5:35pm
- Last race is due off at 9:00pm
- Live DJ set will start after the final race
Assuming no delays, as soon as the final race is over at around 9:05, the jockeys can weigh in, and the real fun can start. The live DJ set is due to start after racing, but there is food and drink throughout the evening.
As well as the dancing and drinking fun, there are seven fantastic races to bet on, and watch live out on the track. Here’s the line-up for the racecourse action during Party in the Paddock on June 5th:
- Race 1 – 1-mile, 6-furlong handicap
- Race 2 – 5½-furlong maiden stakes
- Race 3 – 5½-furlong handicap
- Race 4 – 5½-furlong handicap
- Race 5 – 5½-furlong classified stakes
- Race 6 – 1-mile, 2-furlong handicap
- Race 7 – 1-mile, 2-furlong handicap

There are four sprint races in a row during Party in the Paddock, so things will be over in a flash! Get yourself down to the rails so you can not only see the horses close up but also hear those hooves thundering along as they kick up the turf and pass the winning line. This will be some experience.
