British dance music legends Faithless are performing at Newmarket Racecourse on Friday, August 8th, 2025. The pioneering blenders of trance, hip-hop and house perform after summer evening racing on the July Course at the home of British horse racing. A full headline set is on the cards from Faithless, a show which promises to be utterly memorable and will include major hits such as “God Is A DJ” and the iconic “Insomnia”. This is one not to be missed.
Faithless returned to live action in 2024 after an eight-year hiatus. This year, the band performed in front of tens of thousands at Glastonbury with millions more watching on TV. Now with a 7-piece band, Faithless are due to produce a typically high-energy show after racing finishes at Newmarket on Friday, August 8th.
Faithless and Summer Racing Timings & Location
Those visiting Newmarket for the top-class racing and those wishing to watch Faithless’ awesome show alike can attend the July Course as normal. Follow the signs on entry to Newmarket Racecourses.
Situated next to the Rowley Mile, Newmarket’s other track, the July Course boasts lots of great facilities and enclosures. The Premier Enclosure offers the best views of the track as well as housing great bars and eateries. The Garden Enclosure and the Champions Lawn are also available to visit.
Timings
Race and show timings for Faithless live at Newmarket are:
- Gates open at 3:20pm
- First race is due off at 5:20pm
- Last race is due off at 8:14pm
- Faithless live is due to start at 8:30pm
Faithless’ live show is scheduled for around 90 minutes, finishing off at around 10pm. The start time for the show will depend on the final race of the night finishing on time. The stage setup for Faithless at the July Course will be within the Premier Enclosure. The event space stands between the Grandstands, facing the racecourse. Just look for the huge structure and the lights!
Turf Racing Action Before Faithless Live

Newmarket Racecourse is the very home of British turf racing. Once again, they have some great action planned on the track before Faithless take the stage. Some of next year’s potential superstars may be running in the first three races of the night. There are six races planned. You can get information on the runners and riders within the official racecard or online. The full racecard on the July Course is:
- Race 1 (5:20 pm) – 7-furlong maiden stakes
- Race 2 (5:55 pm) – 1-mile maiden fillies’ stakes
- Race 3 (6:30 pm) – 6-furlong maiden stakes
- Race 4 (7:05 pm) – 6-furlong handicap
- Race 5 (7:40 pm) – 7-furlong fillies’ handicap
- Race 6 (8:14 pm) – 1-mile, 2-furlong handicap
All bar the last race of the night take place on the straight course, well within sight of the stands. In any case, each race finishes in front of the enclosures with great views available by the rails or via the large screens. Commentary via the PA and bookmakers are available for each race.
Once the presentations have been made for the final race, Faithless will be on stage within the Premier Enclosure.
