Newmarket Nights brings back Summer Saturday Live on Saturday, August 23rd, 2025. Performing after racing will be Sugababes, supported by Natasha Bedingfield are part of an amazing live set after the turf action is over.
The home of horse racing hosts the original Sugababes line-up of Siobhan Donaghy, Keisha Buchanan and Mutya Buena. The trio will be performing some of their notorious songs such as “Push The Button”, “Round Round”, “About You Now” and “Freak Like Me”.
As if that wasn’t enough musical sentimentality, Natasha Bedingfield will be preceding the Sugababes set featuring her own iconic hits. “Unwritten” and “These Words” will be belted out across the July Course under the lights. A great afternoon of summer racing starts the day off – this is one not to be missed.
Sugababes and Natasha Bedingfield Live Timings & Location
Visitors for great summer racing in Suffolk and Sugababes live should head to Newmarket Racecourses and the follow signs for the July Course.
The course sits next to Newmarket’s other top-class track, the Rowley Mile, and boasts its own great enclosures and facilities. The Premier Enclosure is where you’ll find the best views of the parade ring and the track. There are also some great food and drink outlets.
Timings
Visitors can also check out the Champions Lawn, the grandstands or the Garden Enclosure. Timings for racing, the Sugababes and Natasha Bedingfield are:
- Gates open at 11:25am
- First race is due off at 2:00pm
- Last race is due off at 4:55pm
- Natasha Bedingfield live is due to start at 5:10pm
- Sugababes live is due to start at 6:20pm
The start time for the live music is dependent on the last race finishing on time. The racing could overrun just a little.
The stage will be within the Premier Enclosure, between the grandstands and facing the track. Natasha Bedingfield will take the stage shortly after the final race and the presentations.
Turf Racing Action Before Sugababes and Natasha Bedingfield
The racecourses at Newmarket serve as the headquarters of British horse racing. Once more, there is some terrific turf action planned before the music begins in the early evening. Lookout especially for race four, a £100,000 sales race for the juveniles.
Six races are on the card, though another could be added with the possibility of a 1:25pm start. All runners and riders will be highlighted in the official racecard. The schedule is:
- Race 1 (2:00 pm) – 6-furlong novice stakes
- Race 2 (2:35 pm) – 7-furlong fillies’ handicap
- Race 3 (3:10 pm) – 1-mile handicap
- Race 4 (3:45 pm) – 6-furlong auction stakes race
- Race 5 (4:20 pm) – 1-mile, 6-furlong handicap
- Race 6 (4:55 pm) – 5-furlong handicap
With the exception of race five, all events are run entirely on the straight course in front of the stands. In any case, every race finishes off right in front of the main enclosures and great views are complemented by the big screen and the PA commentary.
Food & drink and bookmaking facilities are available all day. Once the final presentations are made and the jockeys have weighed in, Natasha Bedingfield and Sugababes can take to the stage within the Premier Enclosure.
