Windsor’s Sizzling Hot Rum & Reggae Race night returns on Monday, July 14th, 2026. The Caribbean vibes abound before racing with a live cooking show from the inimitable Levi Roots. After that, brilliant turf racing and top tunes. This the ideal summer Monday of racing. Get your Caribbean food fix with Levi Roots, then watch the quickest thoroughbreds in the country fly up the home straight before Roots returns for a brilliant DJ set later on.
The reggae and Caribbean beats are unbeatable, keeping the carnival going right into the evening. A great day of racing, food and music is not to be missed and all set out in one of the country’s best racing spots, right on the banks of the River Thames.
Sizzling Hot Rum & Reggae Race Night Timings & Location
Windsor Racecourse is easy to find from London, being just 25 miles to the west off the M4. Getting there by train is easiest – just use either Winsor & Eton Central or Winsor & Eton Riverside stations. You can even get to the track in style – by boat from the river!
No matter how you choose to get there, the scenery will be amazing and so will the Caribbean atmosphere. Take in all the delights of Royal Windsor with a general admission ticket, go for some hospitality or even book the Riverside Boat Package. All options allow for a brilliant day and night of racing, food, drinks and music.
Timings
The current timings for Reggae Night with Levi Roots are:
- Gates open at 4:00pm (TBC)
- First race is due off at 6:00pm (TBC)
- Last race is due off at 9:00pm (TBC)
- Levi Roots is on stage after the final race
After the final race, there are some presentations to be made to the winners and then its onto Levi Roots’ brilliant reggae music set. All the sites, sounds and smells of the Caribbean can be experienced right on the banks of the Thames.
Racing Action on Rum and Reggae Race Night
Gate times and race times can change. The full, confirmed fixture list is published in the first half of 2026. Last year’s fixture featured seven races, and we expect the day to be closely replicated. Here is what the line-up looked like:
- Race 1 – 5-furlong nursery handicap
- Race 2 – 6-furlong novice stakes
- Race 3 – 1-mile, 2-furlong handicap
- Race 4 – 1-mile novice stakes
- Race 5 – 6-furlong handicap
- Race 6 – 1-mile handicap
- Race 7 – 1-mile, 2-furlong handicap
You can access all the information and stats you need on the runners, odds, trainers and jockeys in your racecard. There will be a digital version too. Keep an eye on your bets/runners on the big screen which also shows live odds and action away from Windsor.
When the horses are in the home straight, be sure to get yourself to the rails to get a close-up experience of the sights and sounds of these top thoroughbreds thundering up towards the line.
