Tom Jones: The Voice, The Legend, Live at Sandown Park. One of the premier racecourses in the country presents Tom Jones live after evening racing on Wednesday, July 30th, 2025. Jones returns for another belter of a show to perform legendary hits What’s New Pussycat, Delilah, It’s Not Unusual and more.

Regulars at the Surrey track will remember this legend playing before. Tom Jones has made Sandown Park a highlight on his summer tours and now he is back once again following Wednesday night racing. Just to build up the excitement for some of the best-known songs in the world, our thoroughbred stars take centre stage first for six races on the turf. Gates open at 4:15pm for racing at 5:45pm.

Attendees for Tom Jones live at Sandown on July 30th get one of the best backdrops to compliment the show. Sandown Park is easy to find too: accessible from Esher station, only 25 minutes away from London Waterloo. There are some great facilities at Sandown across all enclosures. Food & drink outlets, hospitality, great track views and more are available. Whichever part of the course you choose to enter, you can always get up close and personal with Jones and his band.

Race and Tom Jones Live timings for Sandown Park on July 30th:

  • Gates open at 4:15pm
  • First race is due off at 5:45pm
  • Last race is due off at 8:30pm
  • Tom Jones Live is due to begin at 8:40pm

Tom Jones is set to perform for around 90 minutes after racing, finishing approximately 10:10pm. Those timings are subject to the finish of the last race which may well overrun slightly. You can’t miss the live stage setup at Sandown. Tom Jones will appear right in front of the grandstand, next to the beautiful trackside lawns.

Those coming to watch Tom Jones perform his legendary hits also get the significant bonus of a cracking day at the races. Sandown, one of the best racing venues in the world, hosts the top horses, trainers and jockeys and is putting on some fine early evening racing before the show.

Six races are on the card for July 30th. You can get info on all the runners and riders online or via your racecard at the track. Keep an eye on the screens for the latest odds. The full race schedule is:

  • Race 1 (5:45) – 1-mile handicap
  • Race 2 (6:15) – 5-furlong handicap
  • Race 3 (6:50) – 7-furlong novice stakes
  • Race 4 (7:25) – 1-mile handicap
  • Race 5 (8:00) – 1-mile, 2-furlong handicap
  • Race 6 (8:30) – 1-mile, 6-furlong handicap

There are great views at Sandown, no matter which stand or enclosure you choose. Get yourself down to the rails to see some of the closest views of the winners passing the line. Live commentary can be heard via the PA around the course, while the big screen TV’s also keep you abreast of the odds and the live action. After the presentations and the weigh-in for the final race, Tom Jones will take to the stage right in front of the grandstand.
